FAQs
What is included in the diagnosis / Investigation fee?
This fee is for the investigation of the first A/C. If the tech can repair the unit in this time frame, they will. However, if further works and or parts are required the tech will quote you for these works. So, you can decide how you would like to proceed.
Inner Suburbs – 45 Mins (30 minutes Labour and 15 minutes travel)
Outer Suburbs – 1 Hour (30 Minutes Labour and 30 minutes travel)
How long does my unit's warranty last?
Daikin, Fujitsu and Panasonic all have 5 years manufacture warranty.
What information do I need to have when I call RowanAir?
A date of purchase, what brand you have, what room the unit is located in and when it was last serviced.
Why is my A/C flashing lights?
This is the most common way to know that your A/C is in fault. Depending on the brand of your A/C, the sequence of lights flashing is the fault code. Please video the sequence before calling us to book an investigation.
Do you investigate Box A/C's?
No, we do not investigate/install box A/C’s. But we can still generate a quote for the Box A/C and forward details of who we recommend having the unit installed by. Before we can send out a quote, we will need the room measurements (so we can work out what size Box A/C is needed). We will also need the actual measurements of the Existing Box A/C unit (Hole is wall size).
Why does the indoor unit louvre not move?
The indoor unit louvre may not open or close due to obstacles around the louvre or its unbalance during use. Airflow directions may not be engaged with the remote control. Circuit malfunction or part unbalance may make the indoor unit louvre not move. The louvre may change its direction for optimal air circulation during cooling and heating.
Why is my A/C leaking water out the front?
Most times this will indicate that there is a blockage in the drain. A blocked drain is the most common cause of water leaking from your A/C. If the drain line gets clogged with dust, dirt, sludge, or mould, the water backs up and comes out the front of the unit. We recommend you have a Deep Antibacterial Clean done on this unit.
